A New Model of Rural Education

Innovation and Opportunity for Rural Cambodian Children

We are not your typical rural school. Unlike many programs that highlight poverty as the main narrative, we believe in cultivating a different mindset—one rooted in possibility, dignity, and real pathways to success. While we quietly offer support when our students face life challenges, our focus remains on providing them with a world-class education and the confidence to dream beyond their circumstances.

In 2022, we launched the very first ballet program in rural Cambodia, opening doors for children to explore the beauty and discipline of classical dance—many for the first time in their lives. This program has become a cornerstone of our commitment to integrating arts education into daily learning.

At the same time, we began incorporating AI learning tools into all of our classrooms. From language practice to science exploration, students now engage with interactive technology that inspires curiosity and builds essential 21st-century skills.

This year, we expanded our impact by launching a new scholarship program. Seven of our students now have the opportunity to attend Sovannapuhmi School each morning, where they study the Khmer National Curriculum, including Khmer language, science, STEM, Khmer dance, computer technology, history, and communication skills.

In the afternoons, they return to our English-based program for four more hours of learning that blends English language, project-based learning, AI learning, science, STEM, ballet, Khmer dance, and more. This unique model provides a well-rounded, high-quality education that empowers rural Cambodian children to dream bigger and achieve more.
