Our Programs

📘 Early Learning Program (Pre-K & Kindergarten)

At Sala Monkey, our early learning curriculum lays a strong foundation in literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development, and English language fluency. We provide a nurturing, play-based environment where children grow with confidence and joy.

Enrollment Growth & Community Outreach
We are committed to expanding access to early education by increasing Pre-K and Kindergarten enrollment by 25% this year through parent engagement, outreach, and by sharing the impact of our unique learning model.

Core Early Learning Goals

  • Foundational Skills: Children develop age-appropriate literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills to prepare for primary school.

  • English Language Development: Daily language immersion builds listening and speaking confidence through songs, games, and storytelling.

  • Parent Engagement: We partner with families through workshops, cultural events, and regular updates to strengthen learning and community connections.

📙 Primary Years Program (Grades 1–4)

Our upper-level curriculum blends strong academic foundations with creativity, leadership, and cultural pride. Students are encouraged to grow as confident learners, capable communicators, and compassionate members of their community.

Academic & Language Goals

  • English Fluency: All students—including those from government schools—are supported to reach grade-level English reading, writing, speaking, and listening within 3 years.

  • 21st-Century Skills: Students engage with technology to build digital literacy and begin exploring age-appropriate AI tools.

Character & Cultural Education

  • Leadership & Confidence: Project-based learning, public speaking, and school performances help students develop voice and vision.

  • Khmer Culture & Arts: Daily classes in traditional Khmer dance, music, and visual arts help children feel proud of their heritage.

Equity & Opportunity

  • Scholarship Program: We provide academic pathways for talented students, ensuring that financial hardship never stands in the way of education.

  • Mentorship & Service: Older students support younger learners through peer mentorship, helping to create a culture of care and community.
